Home Covid-19 Covid-19: UAE reports 2,051 infections; nationwide case count crosses 432,000 The death toll in the UAE stands at 1,414 by Zainab Mansoor March 17, 2021 The Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE has announced 2,051 new Covid-19 cases on March 17, as a result of its nationwide testing campaign. The ministry confirmed that it conducted 236,988 tests over the past 24 hours, to screen for the virus. Meanwhile, an additional 2,741 individuals fully recovered, while eight Covid-19-induced deaths were also reported in the preceding 24 hours.
