Home GCC UAE UAE weather update: Fog covers part of the country; NCM issues alert The country recorded its lowest temperature of 10.8°C in Jabal Jais at 1.45am local time by Zainab Mansoor February 10, 2021 Dense fog enveloped the UAE on Wednesday morning, with low visibility across select parts of the country. Fog was recorded over Ras Al Khor Road (Dubai), Abu Dhabi International Airport, as well as engulfing Al Shamkha, Al Haffar, and Arjan areas in the capital emirate. Meanwhile, patches of mist and fog were also observed over Al Bateen Executive Airport. The weather will become fair to partly cloudy at times, the NCM said in its daily weather bulletin. Temperatures will tend to rise and will vary between 13 degrees celsius to 26 degrees in the coastal areas, between 9 degrees and 29 degrees in the internal areas and touch lows of 6 degrees in the mountains, with highs reaching 20 degrees. Fog and mist formation over coastal and internal areas is also expected on Thursday morning, the NCM predicted.
