World’s first AMG Store to open in Dubai this year

The world’s first AMG Store is set to open in City Walk, Dubai, by the middle of this year.

Gargash Group, the authorised dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has entered into an agreement with Merex Investment, a joint venture between Dubai Holding and Brookfield Asset Management – an operator of Dubai’s lifestyle destinations including City Walk, The Beach and La Mer.

The new AMG Store will be launched as a hybrid retail concept, combining three different experiences being offered inside the same facility including a showroom, boutique and café.

The 743-square-metre facility will have an exclusive selection of lifestyle accessories available from the AMG Shop.

It will also provide an insight into the world of Mercedes-AMG. Specially trained AMG experts will be on hand to interact with customers.

Several Mercedes-AMG vehicles will also be available for test drives at the new location.

The opportunity to experience the AMG vehicle range on the road with a test drive dedicated area, will be the culminating feature of the customer offering and represents the unique selling proposition in this urban setting,” said Shehab M Gargash, group managing director and CEO of Gargash.

Last month, Mercedes-Benz unveiled e-commerce platform for passenger cars in the UAE, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
