Dubai’s Emirates has launched special fares to encourage travel.

All-inclusive Economy Class fares from Dubai start at Dhs1,055 to Karachi; Dhs1,605 to Istanbul; Dhs1,695 to Cairo; Dhs1,995 to Moscow and Dhs4,995 to Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Business Class fares start at Dhs4,495 to Karachi; Dhs5,995 to Cairo; Dhs8,995 to Istanbul; Dhs9,995 to Moscow and Dhs23,995 to Los Angeles. Bookings must be made between January 19 to February 2, 2021 for travel until June 15, 2021.

Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, is also offerings its members special Cash+Miles rates. Bookings made from January 3 to February 1, 2021 for travel between January 3 and June 15, 2021 can enjoy a special conversion offer where 2,000 Skywards Miles is equivalent to $20 for Economy Class flights; and 2,000 Skywards Miles is equivalent to $40 for First and Business Class flights.

Customers who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before June 30, 2021, can enjoy flexible rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans. Customers have options to change their travel dates or extend their ticket validity for two years. Emirates confirmed that it will provide expanded, multi-risk travel cover to its passengers, in addition to its current Covid-19 coverage.

Emirates has implemented a set of measures to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.

The airline’s COO Adel al Redha, lended hope in August last year, when he asserted that Emirates aims to serve 100 per cent of its network destinations, tantamount to 143 cities, by summer 2021.
