Covid-19: Philippines consulate in Dubai closed for two days

All those who availed of consular services on Sunday, January 17, have been advised to get tested for Covid-19

The Philippines Consulate in Al Qusais announced on Sunday, January 17, that it would be closing its consulate for two days until Monday, January 18, due to “a possible exposure to Covid-19.”

In a statement on its website, the consulate said that the premises will undergo an extensive sanitization process and will be thoroughly disinfected.

It advised all those who availed of consular services on Sunday, January 17, to get tested for Covid-19.

Those who had already booked appointments for the duration during which the consulate is closed, will be contacted via their email addresses to reschedule their appointments.

It further provided a WhatsApp number as well as mobile numbers and email addresses for those seeking consular assistance to reach out to.
