The new infections were detected as a result of 116,687 tests conducted across the UAE to screen for the virus. The health ministry also confirmed that an additional 1,746 Covid-19 patients have recovered, while three have succumbed to the contagion. The death toll has now risen to 683, while the case count stands at 214,732. The total cases in the country now equal 129,584, including 122,372 recoveries and 1,502 deaths, Times of Oman reported.
