Saudi Arabia dismisses reports of Crown Prince’s meeting with Israeli officials

Saudi Arabia has vehemently denied reports about a meeting between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Israeli officials during a visit by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to the kingdom.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan took to Twitter to denounce media claims and confirmed that ‘no such meeting occurred’.

His remarks came after Israeli media had reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had visited the kingdom and held talks with the Saudi Crown Prince.

I have seen press reports about a purported meeting between HRH the Crown Prince and Israeli officials during the recent visit by @SecPompeo. No such meeting occurred. The only officials present were American and Saudi.

The Foreign Minister went on to assert that only American and Saudi officials were present during the US Secretary’s state visit.

لاحظت ان بعض وسائل الاعلام تناقلت خبر مفاده ان سمو ولي العهد التقى بمسؤولين اسرائيليين ضمنهم رئيس الوزراء خلال زيارة وزير الخارجية الامريكي الاخيرة الى المملكة. الخبر عار عن الصحة تماما و لم يحدث اللقاء المزعوم.
