Xiaomi launches latest flagship smartphone, e-scooter and smartwatch

The Mi10 series sees Xiaomi continue its focus on camera innovations.

The Mi 10T Pro offers 8K video support while the Mi 10T offers a massive 64MP main camera. Both phones have a triple camera setup with a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera and 5MP macro camera, as well as a 20MP front camera.

Both Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T feature new photography software features including dynamic blurring, photo clones, timed burst, as well as three new photo filters.

Video features include video clones, the ability to record from the device’s front and back cameras simultaneously and time-lapse.

The Mi10 series is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, delivering a combination of power efficiency, performance, and 5G connectivity. The Qualcomm Adreno 650 GPU makes the devices bona fide gaming phones. There’s also a massive 5,000mAh battery backed by a fast 33W charger.

Xiaomi also launched its latest e-scooters, the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 and Mi Electric Scooter 1S.

The Pro 2 can reach speeds of 25 km/h and cover distances of up to 45km on a single charge. Its 300W brushless DC motor provides the power to climb 20 per incline slopes, while a built-in LCD allows riders to monitor real-time speed, riding modes and battery level. It is equipped with 8.5-inch pneumatic tires and a dual braking system. Front, rear, and side reflector and 2W headlight improve visibility on the road. It weighs 14.2kg and can be easily folded up for portability.

The launch also marked the launch of Mi Watch, Xiaomi’s first smartwatch model for the global market.

The Mi Watch features a 1.39’’ bright AMOLED panel and a dedicated sports button on the side, offering access to 117 exercise modes. Six different sensors monitor heart rate, blood oxygen level and air pressure. After only two hours of charging, it offers up to 16 days of battery life, the company says.

Additionally, Mi Watch supports an array of features including over 100 watch faces, camera remote function, native emojis on notifications, voice control, and more.

The Mi 10T Pro will be available locally from December starting at Dhs1899. The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 retails at Dhs2099 while the Mi Electric Scooter 1S retails at Dhs1699. The Mi Watch starts at Dhs479 and will be available from December.
