Home Covid-19 UAE announces 1,563 new Covid-19 cases The total death toll in the country has reached 475 by Aarti Nagraj October 23, 2020 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced 1,563 new Covid-19 cases in the country on Friday, after carrying out over 120,351 additional coronavirus tests over the last 24 hours. The ministry said the new cases, who belong to various nationalities, are all in a stable condition and receiving the necessary medical treatment. The total number of infections reported in the country has reached 122,273. MoHAP also reported one additional Covid-19-related death, taking the country’s death toll to 475. It also announced the recovery of an additional 1,704 individuals from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 115,068.
