Dubai’s Emirates to operate A380 to Amman from November 4

Customers can fly the Emirates A380 from Dubai to Amman thrice a week

Dubai-based carrier Emirates will introduce its Airbus A380 services to Amman, as part of its expanded schedule of 10 weekly flights.

The A380 will begin serving travellers to and from Amman from November 4. The airline currently operates its A380 service to Cairo, Paris, London Heathrow, Guangzhou and Moscow.

Emirates reintroduced its signature products and services on the A380, including the A380 Onboard Lounge and Shower Spa, with measures that prioritise the health and wellbeing of  its passengers.

Customers can fly the Emirates A380 from Dubai to Amman thrice a week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Emirates flight EK 903 will depart Dubai at 2.05pm and arrive in Amman at 3.30pm local time. The return flight, EK 904 will depart Amman at 5.10pm, and arrive in Dubai at 10pm.

The expanded schedule also includes flights EK 905 and EK 906.

Emirates flight EK 905 will depart Dubai at 10.15pm and arrive in Amman at 11.40pm. The return flight, EK 906 will depart Amman at 1.45am, and arrive in Dubai at 6.40am.

Tickets can be booked on the carrier’s website, the mobile app, Emirates sales offices and travel agents.

With recent resumption to several global destinations to fulfill growing travel demand, the carrier’s passenger network will grow to 99 destinations.

Emirates has implemented a set of measures to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.

Emirates allows customers to claim medical expenses on flights undertaken until December 31, 2020, and is valid for 31 days from the moment they fly the first sector of their journey.

The airline’s COO Adel al Redha, lended hope in August, when he asserted that Emirates aims to serve 100 per cent of its network destinations, tantamount to 143 cities, by summer 2021.

The carrier has made Covid-19 PCR tests mandatory for inbound passengers arriving into Dubai (and the UAE), including residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.

To offer flexibility, customers who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before March 31, 2021, can enjoy rebooking terms and options, if they have to change their travel plans. Customers have options to change their travel dates, extend their ticket validity for two years, or convert their ticket into a travel voucher to use against any future flight-related purchase for themselves or their family and friends.
