Dates revealed for next edition of Dubai Shopping Festival

The next edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will be held from December 17, 2020 until January 30, 2021, it has been announced.

The annual shopping extravaganza, now in its 26th edition, will start a week earlier this year, organiser Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) confirmed.

DSF will feature entertainment, live concerts, markets, art installations and stage shows as well as sales, promotions and chances to win mega prizes.

The events line-up will begin on December 17 with concerts, light and fireworks shows, entertainment in malls, and activations by retail brands.

Organisers stressed that each of the participating malls and event venues will maintain the health and safety standards in line with local regulations to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The event last year included 199 live concerts by the likes of Liam Payne, John Legend, Hussain Al Jassmi, while raffle prizes saw 70 Nissan and Infiniti cars as well as giveways worth Dhs50m handed out. A total of 76 fireworks displays were also held across the city.
