The total number of diagnosed cases has risen to 86,447, including 76,025 patients who have till now recovered from the virus. The average number of daily tests for the month of August was 65,106, equivalent to 658.3 daily tests per 100,000 people. A staggering 2,018,274 laboratory tests were conducted in August at the state level to ensure the safety of community members, representing the eighth highest number of assessments worldwide.
