The kingdom has also announced eight additional deaths, scaling the total tally of coronavirus-induced demises to 73. Since the outbreak, as many as 5,369 people have been infected by the coronavirus in the kingdom. Bahrain On April 14, the ministry of health announced the death of a 60-year-old male national, who was an active Covid-19 case and was suffering from chronic health problems. The deceased male, who was in contact with an infected patient, was placed in isolation. Of the 870 active Covid-19 cases, three remain critical while the remaining are reported to be stable. The number of Covid-19 related fatalities in the kingdom now totals seven. Kuwait Kuwait announced 55 new Covid-19 cases and one death in the last 24 hours, Kuwait News Agency reported. Of those infected, 26 patients are in intensive care, nine are reported to be critical, and 17 are stable. The total number of infections nationwide reached 1,355, while three patients succumbed to the disease. Oman The ministry of health announced the registration of 86 new coronavirus cases in the country on April 14, Times of Oman reported. The total number of Covid-19 cases has now reached 813. This also includes the recovery of 130 patients and four deaths. Qatar Since the outbreak, as many as 52,622 people have been tested, of whom 3,428 people are said to have contracted the virus.
