He also approved plans to build schools, healthcare facilities, internal roads and community buildings along the UAE’s east coast. On Monday, during his visit to the Higher Colleges of Technology in Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed also announced the allocation of Dhs1.5bn to build “a new generation” of schools in the country. The schools will include laboratories for robotics, artificial intelligence, health and the environment, as well as specialised sports facilities, he said.
