7X: Emirates Post reveals new corporate identity

Emirates Post Group Company (EPG) announced a strategic repositioning with the launch of its new corporate identity, 7X. The postal and logistics authority said the change aims to position the UAE brand at the forefront of global trade, transport, and logistics domain with the introduction of its new brand identity, 7X.

The new corporate identity was announced at a launch event, held at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai on Wednesday.

In its release, Emirates Post noted that the nomenclature ‘7X’ carries profound symbolism, representing the seamless connectivity of the seven emirates to the seven continents and across the seven seas.

This branding decision underscores the group’s commitment to fostering a world in constant motion.

The strategic realignment aligns with EPG’s five-year plan, emphasising operational excellence, digital transformation, customer-centricity, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth, it added.

Under the 7X umbrella, entities like Emirates Post, FINTX, and EDC will be strategically positioned to yield robust returns on investments across diverse projects, reported state news agency WAM.

Badr Salim Sultan Al-Olama, chairman of 7X, articulated, “With the launch of our group’s new strategy and identity, we aim to connect and enable a world in motion, drawing inspiration from the global stature enjoyed by the UAE and its pivotal role in connecting the world.”

Al-Olama highlighted the group’s dedication to supporting the national economy and solidifying its position as a driving force in the growth of trade, transport, and logistics.

Smart communities

The new strategy strategically aligns with the UAE’s vision of smart communities, leveraging technology and collaborative efforts for enhanced efficiency in global operations.

This revamped strategy establishes new benchmarks for quality, speed, reliability, and transparency in postal and express delivery. By amalgamating Courier, Express, and Parcel (CEP) services with fintech solutions, 7X aims to revolutionise the industry in response to evolving consumer demands.

Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, group CEO of 7X, remarked on the launch, stating, “In this historic step, we embark on a new chapter under the ‘7X’ brand, signifying our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and enriching their value.”

Alashram underscored the company’s commitment to technological and sustainable investments, affirming environmental responsibility and dedication to innovation.

The new strategy is geared towards reinforcing core operations, enhancing stability, achieving operational excellence, and reflecting the company’s dedication to driving innovation in a dynamic sector.
