The President instructed the Joint Operations Command to work in close collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed Charitable Humanitarian Foundation, and other UAE institutions to provide humanitarian support to Palestinian people impacted by the current conflict. Sheikh Mohamed also directed that volunteering opportunities be made available for doctors registered with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, and for volunteers registered with the Emirates Red Crescent and other humanitarian and charitable entities in the UAE, according to WAM. UAE’s relief efforts to support Palestinians in Gaza On October 15, the UAE launched a campaign to provide relief aid to Palestinians impacted by the war in the Gaza Strip, under the theme ‘Tarahum – for Gaza’, the state news agency. The campaign established centres to collect and mobilise humanitarian relief packages in partnership with humanitarian and charitable institutions, volunteer centers, the private sector, media and all segments of society. The relief campaign is being conducted in cooperation with the World Food Program, and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Community Development.
