NEOM, Saudi Arabia’s $500bn city project, is teaming up with Saudi music company MDLBEAST to create a beach club on Sindalah Island.

The Sindalah Beach Club will offer top-notch experiences all year round, focusing on music and culture. The partnership will allow MDLBEAST to run everything, from getting ready for the opening to running the club day-to-day. MDLBEAST is the organiser of the region’s biggest music festival, Soundstorm.

The upcoming beach destination is being developed as a lively spot for celebrating different cultures, with famous musicians and cool visual effects, announced NEOM in its release statement. NEOM’s Antoni Vives says the club will be luxurious but eco-friendly, blending in with the natural surroundings.

MDLBEAST’s CEO Ramadan Alharatani says they’re excited to give the beach club scene a fresh look, with great music and attention to detail. Alharatani says, “Joining forces with NEOM and Sindalah Island marks a pivotal moment in redefining the beach club experience.

“At Sindalah Beach Club, MDLBEAST ignites an unparalleled energy, infusing vibrancy through our curated music programming while meticulously shaping every facet of the club—be it cuisine, beverages, or panoramic scenes and design detail. Beyond hospitality, our collaboration embodies the essence of MDLBEAST, breathing new life into this iconic destination.”

NEOM’s chief urban planning and islands officer, Antoni Vives, emphasised Sindalah’s role in redefining luxury travel and living through innovation and sustainability, with the club balancing exceptional experiences with environmental preservation.

Sindalah will open its doors in 2024, giving a taste of luxury and fun in the future.

Sindalah’s five-star hotel properties

Four Seasons

Earlier in 2023, Sindalah also announced the development of a Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Development. The luxury hospitality company revealed the new luxury resort would feature 225 guest rooms and suites with terraces overlooking the beaches of the Red Sea.

The upcoming island resort will consist of 52 villas with one to four-bedroom configurations with plunge pools and beach views as well as presidential and royal villas offering private swimming pools, gyms and access to private yacht docks.

Marriott International

Marriott International inked an agreement with NEOM earlier this year to bring its Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy to Sindalah.

The signing marked the fourth collaboration between NEOM and Marriott International on the luxury island, which will also include two Luxury Collection properties and an Autograph Collection Hotel.

Luxury yacht destination

The developer has revealed plans to build Sindalah as a luxury yachting destination in the Red Sea. Most recently it announced a tie-up with Camper & Nicholsons, a leading provider of luxury yacht services.

NEOM has also tied up with JLS Yachts, a leading Middle East-based yacht agency, and concierge service provider, as a ‘key partner superyacht agency’ for Sindalah.

NEOM said its partnership with JLS Yachts will support the island’s vision of becoming a global yachting destination, with the island located just 17 hours’ sailing from the Mediterranean.

The agency will provide a comprehensive range of world-class services for the comfort and pleasure of the yachting community, including berthing, provisioning, bunkering, customs clearance, transportation and travel arrangements.

The appointment of JLS Yachts as NEOM’s second official yachting partner, follows the June 2023 announcement that Monaco-based BWA Yachting would be establishing an office at the Sindalah marina.
