KPMG Lower Gulf signs partnership with Abu Dhabi’s G42 Cloud

The alliance is expected to help organisations achieve meaningful business outcomes while leveraging cross-functional capabilities

KPMG Lower Gulf has announced a partnership with Abu Dhabi-based G42 Cloud for cross-collaboration on a number of priority solutions, including new opportunities and projects, and complementary service offerings that will enhance both their service portfolios.

Using next-generation cloud computing, the partnership aims to help enterprises and public sector entities elevate their business.

“Transitioning to the cloud is a critical aspect of digital transformation. As more organisations in the region embark on exciting and transformational digital journeys, both KPMG and G42 Cloud have the combined industry insight, technologies and established expertise to manage cloud-based solutions, stated Emilio Pera, CEO of KPMG Lower Gulf.

“We are pleased to collaborate with G42 Cloud in a joint effort to enable organisations to improve their business proposition in today’s complex and continuously changing digital ecosystem.”

Meanwhile, Talal M. Al Kaissi, CEO of G42 Cloud, added: “We are delighted to partner with KPMG Lower Gulf to provide a portfolio of ready-made, cloud-based services for organisations. As the leading Sovereign cloud platform in the region, we are continuously exploring new partnerships that enhance our offerings across cloud computing, IoT, big data and AI.”

In other news, in December 2022, Dell Technologies and G42 Cloud signed a memorandum of understanding to help customers in the UAE accelerate their digital transformation drive by collaborating on cloud, security and IT and managed services.

The two companies will work together across various areas including private cloud solutions, as well as consulting, residency and managed services.

The collaboration aims to serve the UAE by enabling customers manage their day-to-day business operations and accelerate digital transformation with a more secure and consistent cloud experience.

The agreement will allow the two companies’ customers to leverage the best-of-breed features and performance, including computing, data storage and data protection needs. It aims to assist customers unlock and capitalize on cloud experiences and drive innovation.
