The Indian Embassy in the UAE will close four Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) from October 22, 2026, following administrative changes to its consular service network.
In a statement issued on October 21, the embassy identified the affected locations as Musaffah and Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Investment Park in Dubai, and Al Majaz in Sharjah.
The closures will not affect the overall availability of Indian passport, visa, consular and document attestation services in the country. These services will continue through 12 designated application centres across the UAE.

Four application centres to close
The following locations will stop providing services from October 22:
- Musaffah, Abu Dhabi: Capital Mall, Mohammed Bin Zayed City.
- Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi: Offices WSO 157, 158 and 159, Level 1, Wafra Square Offices.

The embassy cited administrative reasons for the closures but did not provide further details in its announcement.
Applicants who previously used these four locations will need to visit one of the remaining designated centres for passport, visa, consular or attestation services.
Where Indians can access consular services
Following the changes, four application centres will serve Abu Dhabi, while eight will cover Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
In Abu Dhabi, services will remain available at Al Ghaith Tower on Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street in Al Danah, as well as at centres in Al Ain, Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafra region and Ghayathi Mall.
Dubai applicants can continue using the designated centre at UW Mall in Al Mankhool, on Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road in Bur Dubai.
Across the Northern Emirates, centres will remain operational at the Indian Association Sharjah, Indian Association Ajman, Indian Association in Umm Al Quwain, Indian Relief Committee in Ras Al Khaimah and Indian Social Club in Fujairah.
Additional locations will continue to serve applicants at the Indian Social & Cultural Club in Kalba and the Zarouni Building on Sheikh Khalid Road in Khor Fakkan.
Services continue after October 22
The embassy said applicants would continue to have access to Indian passport, visa, consular and document attestation services through the 12 designated locations.
The changes take effect on Thursday, October 22, 2026, when the four identified centres will cease operations.
Applicants planning to submit documents or apply for consular services should check the embassy’s official announcement for the latest information on the revised service network.
