After the fine payment, the smart service aligns with Dubai Police to cancel arrest warrants and stop searches for individuals. The Smart Fine Payment digital service aims at speeding up the procedures for implementing judgments in absentia and increase the rate of execution. The service aligns with the ‘Services 360’ policy, which aims to improve government services. How the Smart Fine Payment system works The fine amount can be paid by choosing one of three methods mentioned below. They can click on the link provided in the text message sent by the Public Prosecution. The link will direct users to a login page using their digital ID, where they pay the fine electronically. The fines can be paid through payment devices for electronic or cash payments. The device accepts cash notes of all denominations, with one note of each denomination accepted per attempt until the full fine amount is paid. The user can log in to the Public Prosecution website using their digital ID and pay the fine online. After completing the payment, the user will receive a text message from Dubai Public Prosecution confirming the successful payment. Following this, the arrest order and travel ban will be cancelled.
