The Dubai Police has acquired a fleet of 100 Audi A6 45 TFSI cars as part of its partnership with Al Nabooda Automobiles-Audi Dubai.

The A6 features a two-liter, four-cylinder engine with 245 horsepower and 370Nm of torque with an S-tronic automatic transmission.

Major General Mohamed Saif Al Zafin, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs at Dubai Police, said that the new vehicles would help achieve Dubai Police’s strategic objectives of maintaining roads safety and security.

Kunjithapatham Rajaram, CEO of Al Nabooda Automobiles, pointed out that their partnership with Dubai Police was established many years ago. Recently, an agreement was signed by the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and the late Ali Saif Al Nabooda, former Director-General of Al Nabooda Automobiles, who pledged to provide 100 cars in support to the force’s efforts in securing Dubai’s citizens, residents, and visitors.

“Our partnership with Dubai Police will not be limited to supporting its traffic patrol fleet, but rather by cooperating with the force in many initiatives that spread awareness among different segments of society on traffic safety, and we hope that these new vehicles will contribute to the performance of its important community service operations across the emirate,” said Rajaram.

In 2016, Dubai Police also acquired four Audi Q7 cars that were also delivered by Al Nabooda Automobiles.

The police force also has a significant collection of high-end supercars and hypercars. It recently added the Aston Martin Vantage to its fleet.
