These devices are designed to revolutionise productivity with cutting-edge AI capabilities. Here’s what you need to know: AI-powered performance The Surface CoPilot+ PCs are part of Microsoft’s latest innovation in AI-driven computing. These are the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs ever built, powered by the new Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors. The devices boast over 40 trillion operations per second (TOPS), ensuring exceptional speed and efficiency. “We have seen an incredible pace of AI transformation with solutions such as Microsoft CoPilot allowing us to do things that we never dreamed possible,” said Adam Labancz, Surface Category Manager at Microsoft UAE. Innovative features Microsoft’s CoPilot+ PCs come equipped with features like Recall, Cocreator, and Live Captions. Recall allows users to instantly locate any information viewed on their PC, Cocreator refines AI images in real time, and Live Captions can translate videos from 44 languages into English, including Arabic. These features are set to enhance productivity and creativity for students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts alike. Enhanced display The Surface Pro 11th Edition offers a stunning optional OLED display in a slim, lightweight design, making it perfect for users on the go. With Wi-Fi 7 support and the ability to connect to up to three 4k monitors, the Surface Pro delivers seamless performance in any environment. Meanwhile, the Surface Laptop 7th Edition features a redesigned body, offering brighter displays with razor-thin bezels, more connectivity options, and an impressive battery life of up to 22 hours. Security first Security is a key focus in the new Surface CoPilot+ PCs. According to Adam Labancz, “At Microsoft, we believe that the best way to secure information on a PC is to secure the whole PC itself.” These devices come as Secured-core PCs, featuring advanced security measures such as firmware safeguards, dynamic root-of-trust measurement, and the Microsoft Pluton security processor. Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS) is also included, providing secure biometric sign-ins without the need for passwords. Availability and pricing The Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition and Surface Laptop 7th Edition CoPilot+ PCs will be available in the UAE starting from August 27. The Surface Pro will start at an estimated retail price of Dhs4,099, while the Surface Laptop will be available from Dhs3,999.
