The airline’s first flight from Dubai International’s Terminal 2 touched down at Dubrovnik Airport earlier today. On Monday, Flydubai also announced the beginning of flights to Krakow in Poland. Read: Flydubai begins flights to Poland’s Krakow The carrier will fly four times a week to Dubrovnik as a seasonal summer route from April 10 to October 25 under the FZ719/FZ720 code. “flydubai is the first airline to offer passengers convenient, direct flights from Dubai to Dubrovnik,” said Flydubai’s senior vice president for commercial operations Jeyhun Efendi “Our new service reflects flydubai’s commitment to open up 71 previously underserved markets on our network of more than 90 destinations.” Sister airline Emirates will codeshare on the route as part of a wider partnership announced last year. Flydubai will also launch flights to Catania in Italy and Thessaloniki in Greece in June.
