Home Industry Emaar launches luxury residences in Dubai Creek Harbour The ‘Creek Horizon’ project will be located close to the $1bn Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour by Aarti Nagraj August 14, 2016 Dubai developer Emaar Properties has launched a new luxury residential project in its upcoming Dubai Creek Harbour Development. The two-tower Creek Horizon project will include one, two and three bedroom residences, and four-bedroom penthouses. It will also feature exclusive villa townhouses set on a podium that connects the two residential towers. The top of the podium will feature the Harbour Lookout – a dedicated rooftop amenity, entertainment deck with a pool and lounge. Meanwhile the ground floor will have cafes and retail outlets. The towers, 35 and 41 floors high, overlook the Dubai Creek, the Downtown Dubai skyline and the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. The new project will also be located close to The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour, which is set to soar 100 metres higher than the world’s highest building, the 828-metre Burj Khalifa. The $1bn tower, designed by Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava, will form the centrepiece of the 6 sqkm Dubai Creek master-development. Ahmad Al Matrooshi, managing director of Emaar Properties, said: “Creek Horizon offers an exquisite location advantage by the historic Dubai Creek and as part of The Island District. In addition to staying next-door to the world’s new icon, residents will enjoy a marina lifestyle, with green parks and high-end retail in close proximity.” The overall Dubai Creek Harbour will feature commercial districts, leisure developments, residential neighbourhoods and parks. It will also have a marina, a 4.5 km Creek Boardwalk, a museum and cultural facilities, canals, landscaped promenades, pedestrian walkways and cycle paths, galleries, water features and a Vida Hotel. The Retail District in Dubai Creek Harbour is also set to become one of the largest in the world. A public transport network will service Dubai Creek Harbour with both land and water-based public modes of transport. Emaar has also launched other luxury residences in the development including Dubai Creek Residences, Creekside 18, and Harbour Views homes in The Island District.
