UAE weather: Rains lash parts of Sharjah, NCM warns of convective cloud activity

The UAE witnessed rain showers even as parts of the country saw the mercury spike up to 45 degrees Celsius

The UAE’s weather authority, the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) has warned of inclement weather in parts of the country.

While some areas of Dubai saw foggy and cloudy weather, rains lashed the Emirate of Sharjah and Al Ain in Abu Dhabi.

The weather agency also forecast mild showers in the outskirts of Dubai.

The UAE witnessed rain showers even as parts of the country saw the mercury spike up to 45 degrees Celsius in the afternoon of June 19.

The NCM has issued an alert for those on the road to be aware of loose or falling objects during convective cloud-caused rain activity.
