Three people were injured after a collision between a tanker carrying inflammable materials and a private vehicle in Dubai early on Sunday morning.

The individuals, who faced minor injuries, have been admitted in a hospital.

The Dubai Civil Defence’s operation room received a call at 12.06am on Sunday about a fire following the accident, which occurred on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Ras Al Khor Street exit.

Fire crews were immediately sent to the site. While the tanker and the vehicle were completely burnt, no one out was trapped inside the vehicles.

The blaze was controlled in about 20 minutes.
