All private schools in the emirate of Sharjah are to commence on-site education from September 24.

The Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Team in the emirate of Sharjah and the Sharjah Private Education Authority have decided that remote learning for all levels in private schools in the emirate will be extended for another two weeks, starting from September 13, until Thursday, September 24.

The move is part of the precautionary measures applied by the government to limit the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, official news agency WAM reported.

Last month, the education authority and the Team in Sharjah issued a similar directive, instructing private schools to impart online education to all students across private schools in the emirate for the first two weeks of the new academic year.
