iOS 17 key features

A number of innovative features are included in iOS 17, which Apple claims is a transformative update aimed at making iPhones “more personal and intuitive.”

A new feature is the StandBy option, which transforms the iPhone into a dynamic information hub.

Whenever the iPhone is connected to a charger, it offers full-screen information right on the locked screen. Among these are details such as the current time, live activities, incoming notifications and widgets customised to the users’ needs.

The iOS 17 also enables users to integrate interactive widgets onto their lock screen and home screen. In addition to enhancing the overall user experience, these widgets offer support for third-party and first-party apps.

Another enhancement is NameDrop – a feature that allows users to share contact information between devices. The iOS 17 further includes a number of exciting updates to the FaceTime application.

In addition to recording and sending audio/video messages, Apple TV users can now add 3D effects to their video calls and initiate FaceTime calls directly from their Apple TV, providing a new dimension to their communication experience.
