Home UAE Dubai Flydubai, Emirates to resume flights to Turkey this month Tickets can be booked on the carriers’ websites by Zainab Mansoor December 14, 2020 Dubai low-cost carrier flydubai will operate a daily service to Istanbul, beginning December 17. “Flydubai flights from Dubai International (DXB) to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) are available to book on flydubai.com and a daily service will operate from December 17,” a spokesperson for the carrier told Gulf Business. In a similar move, Dubai’s Emirates also announced the resumption of daily flights to Istanbul from December 21, subject to government approvals. Emirates flight EK 121 will depart Dubai at 2.20pm, arriving in Istanbul at 4.20pm. The return flight, EK 122, will depart Istanbul at 8.05pm, arriving in Dubai at 1.20am. Flights to/from Istanbul will operate once daily by the Boeing 777- 300ER. Tickets can be booked on the carrier’s website or via its app, through sales offices or travel agents. The total number of passenger destinations served by Emirates has now rallied to 99, inclusive of its European network of 31 locations. Emirates has also partnered with Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) to offer all its customers visiting Dubai a complimentary stay at JW Marriott Marquis.
