In order to promote traffic safety, the Abu Dhabi Police General Command has announced that the speed limit on Abu Dhabi’s Sweihan (also Suwaihan) Road — from Al Falah Bridge towards Abu Dhabi International Airport — has been reset.

Starting Sunday, June 4, the speed limit will reduce from 140kmph to 120kmph, as per a joint statement released by the Abu Dhabi Police General Command with the Integrated Transport Centre.

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command shared a tweet to that effect. Signboards informing drivers of the change have been put up.
