A total of 27 workers sustained minor to average injuries when a bus carrying them rammed into a truck in the Techno Park area of Jebel Ali in Dubai earlier today.

No casualties were reported.

Brigadier Saif Mahir Saeed Al-Mazroui, Director General of Dubai Police Traffic Administration, said the Command and Control Centre received information of the incident.

The accident occurred as a result of insufficient distance between the two vehicles, Al-Mazroui added.

He called upon motorists to exercise caution, adhere to stated road speeds and leave sufficient distance between vehicles.
