Jumeirah group opens resort in OMan

The Jumeirah Group has unveiled its new resort, the Jumeirah Muscat Bay, in Oman. It’s the group’s first property in Oman.

Set in the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah between the Hajar mountains and Gulf of Oman, just 15 minutes from the capital Muscat, Jumeirah Muscat Bay offers offers 206 spacious rooms and suites. In addition, five secluded summerhouses in two- and four-bed configurations, and the Sanctuary Villa, which offers guests with a private pool, dedicated butler service and access to an exclusive private beach.

The new resort will be home to five diverse venues, overseen by culinary director Claudio Dieli, who has over 26 years of experience in the global culinary industry, including stints at international hree Michelin-starsred hotels.

Jumeirah Group’s wellness offering, Talise Spa, also makes its debut in Oman with the opening of Jumeirah Muscat Bay.

In celebration of its launch, the hotel is offering a special opening offer – bookings made before September 30 can take advantage of up to 20 per cent off on room stays when staying for four nights or more, complimentary stay for one child up to 11 years, staying in the same room or suite complimentary Kids Club access for junior guests and $100 worth of credits redeemable across the resort’s food & beverage and spa offerings.

In parallel, members of Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts’ leading rewards programme, Jumeirah One, will receive an additional 5 per cent off their stay plus a complimentary upgrade to the next available room category when booking an Ocean Deluxe Room.

This new Jumeirah resort is situated in Muscat Bay, Oman’s only fully integrated resort village, offering all the modern conveniences and Omani-flavoured luxury hospitality. This resort village, features residential enclaves as well as shops, restaurants, pools and kids play areas, surrounded by landscaped gardens and parkland.

In recent news, Jumeirah Group has launched a new lounge at Dubai International’s Terminal 3 arrivals. The 250 sqm lounge welcomes those with reservations or those looking to book on arrival. Three distinctive zones include a welcome space with a dedicated check-in and transportation service; a waiting area; and a private VIP room offering a host of personalisation services by a dedicated guest relations and butler service team. Guests will also able to freshen up from their flight in the lounge’s bathrooms.
