DP World Marine Services launches new Colombia-Panama route

Unifeeder Group, a multi-regional feeder and container operator and part of DP World Marine Services, has launched a new direct service connecting four Colombian ports with Panama’s Manzanillo terminal.

This strategic move enhances trade flexibility and transit times, particularly for time-sensitive exports such as fresh fruit from the Americas region.

The service, exclusively managed by Unifeeder, offers comprehensive coverage between Turbo, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Barranquilla in Colombia and Manzanillo, Panama.

The new route caters specifically to export companies dealing with perishable goods.

The route allows for additional calls at hub ports based on cargo availability to enable efficient utilisation of vessel capacity.

This launch marks the 19th new route introduced by DP World Marine Services since October 2022, highlighting its focus on enhancing global connectivity.

DP World Marine Services has strategically deployed new vessels, optimised rotations, and shuttle services to meet the growing demand for efficient shipping solutions.

Recent route expansions include the Vietnam Indonesia Service and the India Middle East Service.
