Home UAE Abu Dhabi Air Arabia Abu Dhabi to begin flights to Baku The thrice-weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Baku will commence on June 28 by Gulf Business May 24, 2022 The low-cost carrier said that it will start direct flights between Baku in Azerbaijan and Abu Dhabi from June 28, 2022. Flight 3L 730 will depart Abu Dhabi every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 2.30pm and arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 5.35pm. Flight 3L 731 meanwhile will depart from Baku at 6.35pm and land in Abu Dhabi at 9.35pm. The airline said that it has already opened booking for this sector. The route will be serviced with the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently operates services across 24 routes. The carrier recently introduced its City Check-in service in Abu Dhabi. Read: Air Arabia Abu Dhabi launches City Check-in service The City Check-in service enables passengers to drop off their baggage and collect their boarding pass at a location near them before travelling with Air Arabia. The service also allows passengers to select seats and receive their boarding passes and baggage claim tags. They can then proceed directly to their flight upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Located at the Air Arabia Sales Shop in Abu Dhabi, the centres will accept baggage from 24 up to eight hours before departure. The luggage is transported directly to Abu Dhabi International Airport. The sales shop is located next to Jumbo Electronics on Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi and is open daily from 9am to 8 pm. Apart from Baku, next month, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will also begin thrice-weekly flights to Tbilisi. The airline posted a turnover of Dhs1.12bn for Q1 2022, marking a 97 per cent increase compared to the first quarter of last year.
