Motorists should take note of a new speed limit set to be introduced this week in Abu Dhabi.

In a tweet, Abu Dhabi Police and the Integrated Transport Centre called on motorists to follow new speed limits on Umm Yafina Street in both directions from Al Reem Island to Sheikh Zayed Road (Al Qurum).

While the new speed limit wasn’t specified in the advice, signage posted on the road will help guide drivers.

The advice from the authorities stated that the new speed limit, aimed at promoting traffic safety, will be effective from Wednesday, June 7.
