Home Industry Tourism Abu Dhabi amends ‘green list’ destinations, Saudi back in The new list, effective from March 8, includes 13 countries, up from 10 in the previous update by Aarti Nagraj March 8, 2021 Saudi Arabia has been added back in Abu Dhabi’s ‘green list’ of destinations, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT) announced. Passengers arriving from the green list destinations are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi and will only be required to undergo PCR testing upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport. The new list, effective from March 8, includes 13 countries, up from 10 in the previous update on February 23. Saudi Arabia, which was removed from the list in the last update, has been added back in. The move comes after the kingdom lifted restrictions on gyms, restaurant and malls as well as entertainment activities to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus on Sunday. Countries, regions, and territories included within the green list will be regularly updated based on international development, DCT said. “Inclusion in the list is subject to strict criteria of health and safety”. The list also only applies to countries passengers are arriving from rather than citizenship.
