Sultan Al Taher, director of the Food Safety Department, said: “These impressive figures show Dubai’s position as a global hub, and we’re constantly working to make it even better.” And it’s not just about inspections. Dubai Municipality actively supports the F&B industry, providing infrastructure and attracting investment. The authority’s goal? A sustainable system with adaptable supply chains, as outlined in the Dubai Food Security Strategy. Food registrations The emirate welcomed over 217,000 applications for food registration and assessment, ensuring everything meets top-notch safety standards. The emirate also issued 99,567 ‘health’ export certificates, making it easier than ever to share Dubai’s culinary creations with the world.
