The veteran Qatari businessman established the Almana Group in 1960, and has overseen the group diversify into a massive conglomerate with assets worth QAR4.66 billion as of December 2011. Almana is also a founding member of the Commercial Bank of Qatar, Al Ahli Bank, and the Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance.
