Located in Jeddah Gate, a mixed-use project by Emaar, the new development will include three office buildings of five floors each. The buildings are set around Crescent Plaza, a lifestyle destination with luxury retail outlets, F&B option and a fountain in the centre. Additional retail and F&B will also be available on the lower levels of the three Emaar Square buildings, a statement said. Fred Durie, CEO, Emaar International, said: “The dedicated office precinct complements Jeddah’s international status as a business hub, and offers businesses across diverse economic sectors, a world-class environment to define their individuality. It also meets the gap in Jeddah for a vibrant ‘Central Business District’ that offers luxury commercial real estate space. “Designed to be one of the most prestigious commercial addresses in the Kingdom, Emaar Square at Jeddah Gate will appeal to Saudi and international businesses for their regional headquarters or boutique offices,” he added. Offices will range in size from 250 to 400 sq metres, with office suites ranging in size from 500 to about 735 sq metres with glass walls offering panoramic views. The executive offices are surrounded by a terrace that can be used for special events by the office owners, the statement said. All offices have a spacious lobby with a reception and waiting areas and dedicated parking spaces for each office with security access. The buildings feature fibre-optic network for high-speed internet, satellite cables, central air-conditioning, stand-by generators, sound-proof double-glazed windows, prayer areas with ablution facilities, high-speed elevators, modern waste disposal systems in each floor and 24-hour security. Emaar Square is located five minutes away from the Al Haramain Express Train Station and is less than an hour away from Makkah and three hours away from Medina. The development is expected to benefit from Saudi Arabia’s rising reputation as a business destination, with the Kingdom ranked 26 in the World Bank’s Doing Business Index 2014, said Emaar. While new office supply is being added, market reports state the demand for commercial real estate continues to be robust in the country, it added. The developer currently has ‘Emaar Square’ office developments in Dubai, Istanbul and Cairo. 0 Comments
