The additions bring the total store count to 300 at the Deira-based shopping centre, which plans several more openings in the coming months. They include heritage shoe brand Pavers England, which opens its first UAE location, and watch chain The Watch house. Al Ghurair Centre intends to increase its footfall by 20 per cent in the coming years with a particular focus on international brands to cater to the areas mixture of tourists and residents. “Our mall offers many unique heritage brands that reflect the legacy of the old Dubai neighbourhood in which we operate, and caters for the tourists who flock to Al Ghurair Centre upon landing in Dubai,” said Al Ghurair’s mall vice president of residential and commercial Hani Dabash. “We are committed to offering something new to our customers and visitors every season to make their shopping experience more enjoyable.” The mall recently expanded and will soon open a new dining area with space for selected restaurants and cafes.
