Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launches services to new European destinations

Wizz Air has launched flights from Abu Dhabi to Budapest, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Vienna, Katowice, Catania and Bari

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has launched services from Abu Dhabi to the cities of Budapest, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Vienna, Katowice, Catania and Bari. These destinations also provide travel options for passengers looking to travel from Hungary, Romania, Austria, Poland and Italy to the UAE.

Flights to Bucharest started on March 27, on Mondays and Sundays. Flights to Vienna launched on March 28, flying both on Mondays and Wednesdays. Flights to Bari started on March 29, with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From March 30, flights commenced to Budapest on Wednesdays and Fridays, with an additional flight commencing on April 22, on Fridays. In addition, flights to Katowice started on  April 1, on Mondays and Fridays. The flight to Cluj-Napoca are starting on April 7, on Thursdays, and on April 30 to Catania, on Wednesdays.

In March, the airline also announced the launch of services to Mattala in Sri Lanka. The thrice-weekly flight will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting June 1. It’s the airline’s first destination to South Asia.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s network also offers services to Salalah and Muscat (in Oman), Alexandria and Sohag (in Egypt), Amman and Aqaba (in Jordan), Athens (in Greece), Baku (in Azerbaijan), Belgrade (in Serbia), Kutaisi (in Georgia), Manama (in Bahrain), Sarajevo (in Bosnia), Tel-Aviv (in Israel), Tirana (in Albania) and Yerevan (in Armenia) among others.
