The UAE has reported a total of 1,988 Covid-19 cases on June 23.

The new infections were detected, following 249,333 examinations conducted to screen for the contagion.

The health ministry also confirmed 1,922 recoveries and six deaths in the last 24 hours.

The nationwide case count has risen to 618,148, including 597,008 recoveries and 1,773 deaths.
