Home UAE Dubai UAE golden visa: 79,617 visas issued in 2022, says GDRFA The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai processed over 62.24 million transactions last year by Gulf Business January 12, 2023 The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has shared that the number of golden visas issued in all categories increased to 79,617 in 2022, up from 47,150 in 2021. The directorate processed over 62.24 million transactions in 2022, including 46,965,715 entry and exit transactions through air, land and sea ports, up from 37,384,028 transactions the previous year, reported the state news agency, WAM. This number included 9,852,218 visa transactions and 4,499,712 residency transactions, 40,642 electronic passport transactions, and 37,267 legal consultations, among others. The GDRFA also achieved a 99 per cent success rate in implementing its operational plan, with the Customer Happiness Index crossing 96 per cent and Partner Happiness Index reaching 100 per cent, reported WAM.
