UAE Amazon customers can now order directly from Amazon UK

Amazon.ae has added 15 million products that can be shipped directly from Amazon UK sellers to customers within the UAE.

Via the Amazon Global Store on the Amazon.ae platform, customers can search, browse, and purchase products from Amazon UK. The Amazon Global Store already allows UAE customers to purchase items which are shipped directly from Amazon US.

The range of products available from Amazon UK include fashion, beauty, personal care, home, kitchen, and books, among others.

Prices are displayed in AED, inclusive of all applicable duties, on the Amazon Global Store.

Items shipped from Amazon UK can be delivered here within the UAE as quickly as two business days when choosing priority option and six business days for the expedited option.

Meanwhile items shipped from Amazon US can also be delivered within a minimum of two business days to customers in the UAE when choosing priority option and seven business days for the expedited option.

There is free delivery on orders above Dhs100 for all international deliveries (from the US and UK) for Prime members. The e-commerce platform is offering a 30-day free trial of the Amazon Prime membership programme.

Amazon.ae customers can shop from Amazon UK by downloading the Amazon app or by visiting the Amazon Global Store on the website directly at www.amazon.ae, which is available in Arabic and English.

The e-commerce platform has grown significantly within the region over the last few months. In June 2020, Souq.com announced the official launch of Amazon Saudi Arabia via the Amazon.sa domain. A few months later Amazon permitted customers in Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman to shop on Amazon.ae and have items shipped to them from the UAE.
