Friday is a welcome retreat for many, as it accords the time and space to rejuvenate one’s self for the following week.

Therefore, it is only fair to use the time well to prioritise health and well-being.

Dubai offers a string of opportunities to do just that. From scrumptious spreads to spa offerings, a host of places offer the opportunity to reset.

Morning
Depending on the type of person you are, you may want to skip this step, but you can never go wrong with starting your day off with some yoga. Core Direction offers various yoga classes throughout the day for both beginners and experts. Their yoga classes are all offered at unique locations, including at the top of the Burj, The Beach JBR, Dubai Opera Garden, and Green Planet.

Zen Yoga, which has locations from Media City to The Springs, offers a variety of yoga classes as well as a foundations class that explores the foundations of yoga.

Midday
This could be your ‘me-time’, which could potentially include a secluded cup of coffee, finishing that last episode you’ve been meaning to, practice some self-care or soaking in the relaxing energy.

Early Afternoon
It’s now time for lunch, or better, brunch. Friday brunch is a must-do on your relaxing day off, and luckily, Dubai is known for it.

The Zeitaku Brunch at 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant, Dubai Address Hotel offers a satisfying 11-course brunch all served plate-by-plate for Dhs399 per person.

Late Afternoon
No relaxing day is complete without a trip to the spa.

Anantara The Palm, Palm Jumeirah is known for its hammam experiences and range of treatments and facilities. From a herbal bath to a crystal and gemstone steam room, you can feel truly relaxed.

Amara Spa, Park Hyatt Dubai gives you exclusive access to their pool when you use the spa. Enjoy a lymphatic draining face massage or a 90-minute deep tissue massage.

Night
After happy hour, it’s time to eat dinner. Depending on the cuisine you prefer, Dubai has an enviable spread of F&B offerings, from Japanese to Italian.
