Home GCC Qatar Qatar Tourism brings global photography app Explorest to Middle East Travel photographers wishing to capture images can download the app which will soon feature on Qatar Tourism’s website by Gulf Business June 29, 2022 Qatar Tourism has partnered with global photography app Explorest to debut in the region and unveil 75 of the greatest places to take photos across Qatar. This comes after the successful launch of Explorest in some of the world’s most photographed cities including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The partnership sets the app to become the go-to digital travel companion for amateur and professional photographers wishing to capture unique images of the country’s diverse natural assets, architecture, cultural hotspots and more. First-time or returning travellers to Qatar from the region, as well as professional and amateur photographers can tour the country, leveraging the app’s feature, Location Insights. These insights include precise GPS coordinates, recommended visit times for magic light hours, photo specs, field tips, weather details, and even suggested nearby activities. Berthold Trenkel, COO at Qatar Tourism commented, “As we continue to witness growing numbers of visitors from the region, we are delighted to launch a new angle through which our guests can explore Qatar. As a launch promotion, all Qatar location insight details will be unlocked for 12 months.
