From superyachts to catamarans, the boat show will feature over 400 vessels this year

The annual Dubai International Boat Show, set to begin later this month, will have over 400 boats on display this year.

Running from February 26 to March 2 at the Dubai Canal, the event will see a wide range of watercraft – from superyachts and fishing boats to amphibious vessels and catamarans.

Here are 12 of the unique yachts that will be on display this year.

1) Majesty 140, Gulf Craft

A yachting ‘masterpiece’, Majesty 140 was designed and built in the UAE and launched at the 2018 Dubai International Boat Show. According to builders Gulf Craft, it has “redefined the meaning of superyacht”. Measuring 141 ft 5 in, this yacht’s exceptional interior design, space and entertainment features make it a palace up top, with two 2,600hp engines ensuring it carries the necessary beef below.

2) S7, Azimut Yachts

Stunning from every angle, Azimut’s new carbon fiber motor yacht the Azimut S7 measures 68.9ft and comes in both Coupé and Sport fly versions. Its propulsion system is equipped with three Volvo IPS 1,050 units, each housing 800hp engines that can have the yacht zipping at more than 35 knots when fully fitted out. Below deck you’ll find 42ft of space, with a garage capable of accommodating both a 10ft tender and a jet ski.

3) Sirena 64, Sirena Yachts

The first in Sirena Yacht’s new breed of expedition vessels, Sirena 64 is suitable for family world cruising. It features a spacious three-configuration layout with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, reams of natural light, and an interior design by Tommaso Spadolini. This 68-footer amalgamates Italian flair with Turkish craftsmanship, brought together on an innovative hull design. She’s also very environment-friendly, with greater fuel and water capacity than others of similar size, and is close to 20 per cent more efficient.

4) Majesty 100, Gulf Craft

This 104 ft 11 inches yacht has garnered global attention since its launch in 2017, with its unique enclosed sky-lounge just the start of an opulent lounging experience aboard. Uncompromised naval engineering and two 1,900hp engines ensure comfort and efficient performance even at high speeds.

5) Integrity 55ft, Riviera Boat

Part of Riviera Boat’s signature Integrity series, the 56ft Integrity 55 is a masterclass in balance. Its sporting lines and exterior proportions above the waterline are mirrored in a performance-oriented hull design below. The indulgent comforts of the yacht’s outdoor space are complimented by responsive handling that allows quick and secure reactions – coming together to help you stretch the al fresco lifestyle on the water for days.

6) Princess F70, Princess Yachts

The flagship of British luxury yacht manufacturer Princess Yachts’ flybridge range, the F70 exudes elegance and style, with an array of delicate fixtures, fittings and finishes carrying through its entire 69ft 9in body. With a sprawling foredeck, a u-shaped dining area and a fully equipped wet-bar on the flybridge, the vessel also features hand-crafted furniture and Japanese wall coverings and a master stateroom with its own private staircase. The growl of her MAN V12 1400mhp engines can have her cruising at up to 36 knots.

7) Grande 25 Metri, Azimut

Expected to be one of the biggest draws at the Dubai International Boat Show, the 85ft Grande 25 Metri exemplifies pure luxury. Housed within a carbon tech superstructure with sublime exterior styling, the sleek vessel is currently said to be the smallest superyacht in the world. Owners can choose between twin 1,650hp MAN engines or alternative 1,800hp MAN engines, which will allow the luxury yacht to reach a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots. Accommodation is for eight, with three double beds and one twin. There’s space for three crew too.

8) Foiler, Enata

The Foiler is the world’s first ‘flying yacht’, a project by UAE based company Enata, which has revolutionised the yachting industry. Using four retractable foils, the yacht lifts itself out of the water and gives passengers a sensation of flight. Offering increased fuel efficiency – along with comfort, stability, speed and safety – the vessel claims to make sea-sickness a thing of the past. After launching its prototype last year, the Dubai International Boat Show will this year welcome the yacht’s pre-production model, complete with new open-space layout, a 740hp hydrostatic propulsion, improved hydrodynamics and a further increase in fuel efficiency.

9) Silvercraft 36CC, Gulf Craft

Families will be sure to love this highly versatile cabin boat. It might seem a little daintier, measuring just 35 ft 10 in, but with up to 14 people fitting comfortably in its primary seating area, it’s the perfect cruiser for those sunny summer weekends. Whether you’re looking to teach the kids how to fish with up to four rods on the deck, give watersports a go, relax under the aluminium tee top, or hop island-to-island, then this is the boat for you.

10) Cranchi E56 F, Princess Yachts

Part of its Evoluzione line, the E56 F is a collaboration between 149-year-old Italian boat-building icon Cranchi and boating, automotive and interior designer Christian Grande. Equal parts function and finesse, she is a practical flybridge motor yacht with a spacious aft deck covering nearly a third of the 56 ft 5 in vessel.

11) Iguana Expedition, Iguana Yachts

This amphibious Expedition craft from Iguana Yachts transitions seamlessly from land to sea, and is built with carbon fiber, marine grade aluminium and stainless steel. With an overall length of 30 ft, the Expedition can plough the waves backed by 400hp, with a robust powertrain allowing it to cruise easily on land. This is a boat for the gadget lovers featuring shock-absorbing seats, a console that folds-away in two seconds flat, a GPS chartplotter combo and Bluetooth wireless streaming.

12) 40 Open Sunreef Power, Sunreef Yachts

This dynamic catamaran day cruiser – which made its official debut at the 2018 Dubai International Boat Show – is back with a ‘bling’! This year, the vessel features an application of Sun King Diamond Coating. With a length of 43 ft, the boat’s 17.1 Ft beam maintains stability at high speeds. Developer Sunreef Yachts claims that the largest engine option – quadruple 400hp engines – can get the 40 Open Sunreef Power roaring at speeds of up to 60 knots.
