Honor’s chairman emphasises MEA region’s importance during his visit

Honor, a global technology brand, has set its sights on expanding its presence in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, where it sees significant opportunities for growth.

To demonstrate its commitment, the brand’s chairman Wan Biao, recently visited the region to engage with key partners and media and explore new opportunities for collaboration. “Our strategy is focused on providing smart solutions that meet the needs of its customers in the region,” stated Biao.

The company has already launched several products, such as the Honor X9a, X7a and X8a smartphones, which have received positive feedback from market.

“At the heart of our values lies product innovation, and we are committed to investing substantially in research and development to cater to our complete range of smartphones,” he said.

Honor Magic Vs

The brand’s commitment to innovation is evident in its plans to launch the Honor Magic Vs, a foldable smartphone that features state-of-the-art technology and a strong focus on hinge design and engineering. “We are also working on developing its operating system to provide a seamless experience across different devices,” explained Biao.

Presence at MWC

Meanwhile, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, Honor showcased its latest technologies and introduced its dual flagship strategy. The Magic5 Series and Magic Vs from the flagship Magic Series were well-received, with the Magic5 Pro winning 18 awards in different categories.

The brand introduced MagicOS 7.0, an open standard smart collaboration OS based on Android, PC and IoT operating systems, facilitating seamless collaboration across different devices.

“Our vision is to create an intelligent world for everyone, and we plan to achieve this by staying ahead of the curve and continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible,” Biao added.

With its focus on innovation, technology and the needs of its customers, Honor is poised for significant growth and success in the region and beyond.
