Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,107 cases; 215 infections registered in Oman The death toll in the UAE has risen to 572 by Zainab Mansoor November 30, 2020 UAE The health ministry reported a total of 1,107 new infections, 714 additional recoveries and two deaths in the preceding 24 hours. The new cases were detected as a result of 87,514 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The case count has now scaled to 168,843, including 154,899 people who have since recovered and 572 patients who succumbed to the virus. Oman The Ministry of Health has registered 215 new coronavirus cases, 253 recoveries and five deaths in the last 24 hours. The case count in the sultanate has risen to 123,699 including 115,216 recoveries and 1,423 deaths, Times of Oman reported. Bahrain The health ministry confirmed that 142 new cases were detected as a result of 9,845 tests conducted on November 29. Out of 9845 COVID-19 tests carried out on 29 November 2020, 142 new cases have been detected among 59 expatriate workers, 78 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 5 are travel related.
