GCC Covid-19 update: Saudi reports 3,717 cases; 36 deaths; Kuwait registers 683 cases

The death toll in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait has risen to 819 and 275 respectively

Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Health has reported 3,717 Covid-19 cases on June 10, its highest daily rise in infection count.

The ministry has also confirmed 36 Covid-19-related fatalities.

The total has now reached 112,288 while the death toll stands at 819.

Riyadh has posted its highest number of cases with 1,317 infections, followed by Jeddah (460) and Hufof (194).

 


Oman
The Ministry of Health in Oman reported 689 Covid-19 cases and one death, spiking the death toll and infection total to 84 and 18,887.

Currently, Oman has 85 ICU admissions. Meanwhile, the recoveries across the sultanate total 4,329.

Kuwait
The Ministry of Health reported 683 Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours, Kuwait News Agency reported.

The death toll has risen to 275 while the infections have increased to 33,823.

Bahrain
As of June 9, Bahrain had a total of 5061 active cases, of whom 13 were in a critical state.

As many as 30 people have succumbed to the virus since the outbreak.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health has reported 1,716 new cases and four deaths in the last 24 hours.
